Tomas Reyes
Reviews EditorTomas Reyes runs the packing bench. He spent four years as a quality-control supervisor on a Rotterdam e-commerce fulfilment floor, where he wrote the damage-claim playbook and learned exactly which carton failures are predictable. He joined the Atlas desk in 2022 and now plans the reference item set, runs the drop and stack checks, and writes the packaging section of every review. He also handles the photo-check comparisons, since a mislabelled warehouse photo is the most common cause of a wrong-item claim.

Tomas runs three physical checks on every parcel: a 60 cm drop onto foam with a ceramic mug inside, a 5 kg stack test with a sealed 500 ml bottle, and a corner-crush inspection after transit. He compares the warehouse photo set against the order list item by item, records any mismatch and requests a repack before the parcel leaves. Damage claims are logged with photos and the carrier's response time.
